We’ve never had a client casually mention that “one day” they would like to turn their empty laundry room into a prayer room. B and his brother, T, had been sharing this apartment, empty except for a card table and two air mattresses for many months. Both of them are hard workers and know the Lord. What a privilege to come alongside them and show them the love of the Lord in action! They were truly speechless when they saw their apartment transformation and absolutely loved the prayer room.
So often we have just the right donations given to us at just the right time. We call these “God winks” and this project had plenty of them.
Isn’t God good? We were so blessed to be joined (again!) by the wonderful Brett and his sweet wife Mary, who helped tremendously. Brett put together the beds (always a challenge) and Mary not only brought some yummy chili for B and T to enjoy, but she helped make every room beautiful too!
