Isaiah 41:10, 13 tells us “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand … For I am the LORD, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear, I will help you.”
K’s faith has sustained her during some very challenging times. It’s hard to imagine the double trauma of losing her baby, and then (only a month later) her fiancé. But her story was not over … a beautiful new chapter was being written.
We were so grateful to have been introduced to K when she was a mere few weeks from delivering a precious new baby boy. Being confined to “bed”rest per doctor’s orders meant an air mattress on the floor in an empty apartment. We knew that it was no accident that our paths crossed.
Our Heavenly Father, in His loving kindness, knew that donations already received and waiting in our storage facility would make for a lovely and comfortable home for this sweet momma and newborn. K was focused on getting WIFI set up so that she could work from home.
Meanwhile, we were focused on gathering up the just-right pieces - furniture, kitchen items and decor to turn this empty space into a cozy HOME! A bed with a brand-new mattress, a crib for baby, a rocking chair for sweet snuggles, cute baby area decor … we pray that all of this highlights our Savior’s love and provision for K!
A fun bonus for us was having our wonderful movers (we Daniel Movers!) get to be present for the reveal. (Having to do a sofa swap due to size constraints turned out to be a great ministry moment) These guys work so hard with us, but are never actually there to see the finished product AND the way it blesses our clients.
