While every Blessing Day is special, a recent Blessing Day for K was SUPER SPECIAL! We were able to show her the love of our Savior by transforming her empty apartment into a HOME … on her 22nd birthday!! Though relatively young in years, K has experienced some trials and wound up living in her car for a time. After residing at Mission of Yahweh for a while, she was ready for a fresh start and a place of her own. With a new job, she is determined to never be homeless again. In Finishing Touch, we see over and over again that the Lord’s plans and the Lord’s timing are perfect - down to the smallest detail. The moving truck had an unfortunate breakdown on its way to us, but that meant that some “just right” donations for this Blessing Day arrived while we were waiting!
Our prayer for K is that, during her current “trip around the Sun”, she will be reminded that God’s Son knows her, loves her and says that she is beautiful! “Those who look to him are radiant.” Psalm 34:5
